2008 - Viva Radio Due Minuti
Television show : Viva Radio 2 Minuti
Set designer : Marco Calzavara
Location: Radiofonia, Via Asiago, Rome
Carpentry: Scenografia International Srl
The set built for Fiorello in Via Asiago, Rome, where he broadcasts his radio show, was conceived as an explosion of light and LED features.
The overhanging right and left wall of the studio is completely covered in LEDs attached to a computer-perforated, glossy black frame used to house the lighting system.
The proscenium comprises a large semi-circular frame, marked by two rows of LEDs on a glossy black background, while the stage consists of a cylindrical platform lined with white dibond.
The two-level orchestra area is covered with glossy black dibond for the lower level and black felt for the upper level.
The walls illuminated by LEDs and the double-door exit mark out the stage.
