The television production "Notti sul Ghiaccio" involves the following: sixteen mirrored ribs, transparent polycarbonate pillars, lining and decoration of the orchestra area and the rear of the audience platforms.
The construction and assembly of the ribs, placed in a concentric fashion, is the most important feature of the whole set.
Said ribs have a wooden frame, covered partly with mirrors and partially painted sky blue, with transparent alveolar polycarbonate strips at the top which taper off in waves
The light, light fittings (placed in front of each rib) and skating rink placed in the middle create the overall feeling of being wrapped in ice of a thousand different shades.
The transparent polycarbonate pillars serve to make the lighting effects more interesting and dynamic.
