The television production “On the Road" involves the construction of: roads that go up and down with specific support systems, printed PVC flooring, decorated iron walls, a platform in the shape of a bus made completely of iron, etc.
A semi-circular road that goes up and down is placed at the centre of the set, built out of wood and covered with decorated PVC, supported by cast-iron trellises.
The stylised tunnels, formed of concentric multilayer circles with a cast iron finish, are highlighted by the set lighting. The iron walls support reproductions of road signs, dashboards and computer perforated car silhouettes.
At the right of the set there is a genuine bus-shaped platform, complete with driver’s seat and seats for the participants, made out of iron with aluminium paint finish, while the chassis is coated with red lacquer.
