The 59th Prix Italia international competition, put on in Verona, offers a module-based set design.
The traditional structure of plinth, columns and trabeation comprises the image’s basic formula, made out of wood and varnished in natural colour.
The four-column model incorporates poster art, paintings, prints, etc.
The whole set was split up in order to be transported and mounted on site. This is why the easiest assembly method was adopted which was nonetheless tricky given the size of the module.
The covering of an iron structure also houses the reproduction of the highly suggestive painting of the Last Supper.
